The Federal government has a tremendous challenge--they have a hard time recruiting and hiring good talent, even more so than the private sector. Part of this stems from the long cycle of identifying candidates (pre-marketing), recruitment marketing, actual hiring, onboarding, etc. Agencies lose candidates largely due to the poor, protracted recruiting and hiring experience related to government processes.
For a leading management consulting firm, we asked the question: What if? What if they took the best technologies the firm already had and overlaid it with a Salesforce app that nurtured candidates from ‘cradle to grave’ to provide a more seamless (and less painful) recruiting experience? They wouldn’t need to change the core tools the firm or the customer used, they’d simply integrate the app into the existing infrastructure.
We loosely architected this idea and took it to leadership. It became the foundation of a large competitive bid for a Federal agency which the firm won and executed.
